Clear

Hands grasping the edges,
      I throw my legs over the side of the bed
   and my back pops loudly.


  
   And I bet you didn't know that
           the air released
         from between my vertebrae
     was really several long-kept sighs
             for you.



   Start to love you,
     And love to start you
      with electric hands
         charged with
       the shock of seeing your
         pretty face.


I press my hands
against your heart
to bring you to life.



So open your eyes.
