Literature Text

I want someone to kiss me
     and mean it,
  like a raindrop that falls
determinedly on a leaf,
              and lends itself to
          the curves of her cheek.

I want tension,
        I want friction,
     I want heat.

            I want rose quartz,
                  I want snow
              instead of sleet.

I want the pressure of
       Pressure
    to fall upon me,
         the feeling of
        Feeling
                    to entwine with my pulse.

I want the clichés,
              and the traditions,
        and the hope,

I want the adrenaline
     that comes with dangling
  on a rope.

Oh, I want to govern mountains
     with a single touch,
    To spark a fire
with a single brush.

I want hellfire
    I want pearly gates,
  I crave the hook,
           I’ll be the bait.

I want someone’s heart
    to merge with mine,
   until our pulses
     start to combine.

But most of all,

I want someone to kiss me
     like I mean it.
Not gonna lie, I think it's the best thing I've written in a while. What do you think?
